My brother and I have decided to set up a fund in memory of our wonderful mum Kate. It will be 4 years since our mum died after a long journey with Breast Cancer and we would like her legacy to live on through this fund. By donating and fundraising we can support the incredible Maggies Centre which provided us with a life line during this journey. Our mother received counseling and used the center as a place to take a break from the hospital. The Edinburgh Maggies Centre is warm and comfortable and provided valuable free classes to patients and families as well as a home from home. I would like the money we raise to continue to support everything the centre has to offer, so they can continue to provide a valuable resource for patients and their families.
